Timely, good communication, solid work!+0Verified
We initially had Greg from Castillo Works Plumbing repair and replace our secondary bathroom's cold water shut off valve April 13, 2026 which had a slow leak. The recommended solution was to apply a copper sleeve which remedied the original damaged water line. Leak stopped and the angle stop was replaced with a new angle stop, which we provided. As we're working on some home renovations, we once again had another slow leak which needed repair. On May 4, 2026 , we again called Greg to replace and/or repair 9 more cold and hot water shut off valves with customer provided angle stops and application copper sleeves as needed. We required (3) sleeves on May 4 and (1) on April 13. Greg was punctual, professional and he proficiently resolved our plumbing needs. We recommended Castillo Works Plumbing!!+3My life is now complete:-). I have found a reliable, competent, efficient, polite, clean and fairly priced Plumbing Company in Ely Castillo Works. We came back after being away for a few months and needed a new Hvac system (ours was 36 years old) Ely and the boys had a new state of the art efficient system installed in less than a week. See Pics Below. The same performance was done when we needed a new Hot water heater last year. Question: Is it ok to Love your Plumber ? Answer: Yes when Its Castillo Plumbing. Thanks Guys.+2Castillo works plumbing service was top notch. The team member was dispatched to my house quickly, assessed my concerns and resolved my issues. Will definitely reach out in the future. Amazing job! My sink water no longer leaking.+0We had a pipe leak under our kitchen sink. I asked my husband to call Castillo Works. I called them before on a different job estimate and remembered how professional and quick they were. Greg came out again immediately, I was surprised. I was going to get two estimates but Greg responded quickly and thoroughly that my husband didn't want to call any more plumbers for quotes. Our leak was fixed within maybe 2. 5 hrs of us making the initial call. I was just hoping we could have it fixed in a couple days. I don't know if we paid too much or average, but if you need help and someone shows up quickly, get it done and move on with your day. I'll definitely use them again. See before and after pics+1Castillo Works came to save the day when we needed our Air Conditioning repaired. Within hours they arrived, figured out the issue and were able to provide a quote that was 40% cheaper than the other big name companies in San Diego. Very happy with the customer service!+0I used Castillo Works (Plumbing, Heating, and Air Condition) for replacement of our water heater and it was a wonderful experience. I am truly thankful i called them for their services, not only professional at what they do but also reliable and dependable. I would not hesitate to recommend Castillo Works to everyone!+0The best plumbing work and team in San Diego — hands down. Eli (the owner) is an incredible consultant who truly listens, gives honest advice, and helps you feel confident at every step. Art, who handled the repair, is hands-down one of the most professional, skilled, and respectful plumbers I’ve ever met. In my case, they replaced a damaged shower valve, tub spout, and other fixtures. The job wasn’t simple — the pipe had to be carefully pulled forward and reworked to properly align with the new valve. Art handled everything with precision and care, took time to explain each step, worked very cleanly, and made sure all the details were perfect. He even followed up about a minor water concern in the garage and offered to come back if needed. That level of accountability is rare. Before choosing them, I got quotes from several other companies — including Bill Howe Plumbing, Voyager Plumbing, a Korean plumber, a Chinese plumber, and Castillo Plumbing. Eli’s team provided the most detailed plan after carefully reviewing the issue, and their quote was both comprehensive and cost-effective. Please see the attached before and after photos — the quality of their work speaks for itself. I'll absolutely return to Eli and Art for any future plumbing work, and I’ll be recommending them to everyone I know. They’re more than just contractors — they’re a trustworthy, top-tier team I’m grateful to have found. Thank you all for the incredible, unforgettable service — and for being so friendly and kind throughout the process.+0Amazing service! I called Thursday evening and he was able to stop by and provide me an estimate and order me the part I needed to do the work the next day. The next day he showed up on time and promptly fixed my Pressure Regulating Valve.+0These guys were great. On a Friday evening at 730pm I discovered my water heater had a leak. It was 7 years old, and called the company that had installed it, and they gave me a quote to replace, which was stupidly high, and tried to upsell me on other products. So, I went to Yelp and called a couple plumbers. As soon as Castillo answered the phone I knew they were the right plumbers for me. The guy (sorry, missed the name) listened to what I needed, asked a few questions, and then gave me a verbal estimate. So I set up an appointment for Saturday morning. Two guys show up on time, inspect the job, and confirmed the verbal quote. I also asked it they could add an expansion tank to help with my air-hammer issues. He made a call, and gave me a firm quote, which was extremely reasonable. They placed an order for the heater and tank, which arrived in about 30 minutes. During that time they removed the old water heater. The install was a breeze. They worked independently, but asked questions when needed. Both guys were easy to work with, hard workers, and clearly knew what they were doing, After installation he made sure i knew how to light the pilot and set the temperature, and they cleaned up perfectly. I was really impressed with Castillo from the first call to watching them drive away. I highly recommend these guys!! I will be using them again!+1These guys were great. I will be scheduling another appointment for my water irrigation for my yard. Thank you Ely and Art for another job well done.+0Ellie, Ace, Earnie, and Greg were all nice and professional. Very easy to talk to and they all did an excellent job. We had a water leak last week in our garage that was coming from the wall. They had to remove our water heater tank and open up the wall to find source of leak. They found two sources of water leak anf fixed the same day. Glad they came right away and fix the problem before damage got worse and kept it at a minimum. Would recommend and would call them again for future repairs.+4Ellie, Ace, Earnie, and Greg were all nice and professional. Very easy to talk to and they all did an excellent job. They came out to our house promptly, diagnosed the problem, and installed a new faucet, all for a very reasonable price. Our technician was Greg, and his communication was great. He texted me to let us know he would arrive in about 10 minutes. Greg's work was fast and friendly, and he completely solved our leak problems. Castillo is *highly* recommended.+0I called this company on a Sunday and spoke with the owner. He was very responsive. Ernie and Ace arrived within an hour and cleared my clogged kitchen drain. They were professional, neat and got the job done! Thank you!+0Greg with Castillo Plumbing Works replaced my water heater and I couldn't be happier. From start to finish, these guys were the best in customer support, availability, speed, and quality.+0Castillo Works Plumbing provides excellent customer service! This is my second time using their services in the past four years, and once again, they exceeded my expectations. The quality of their work is top-notch, and the water heater replacement was done quickly and efficiently. They even took care of disposing of the old unit. I'm very pleased with both the service and the price. I will absolutely use Castillo Works Plumbing again and highly recommend them to others!+1I noticed a little bit of water around the base of my toilet before leaving for work this morning. I called Castillo Works Plumbing. My brother had referred me to them as he has previously had good experiences with them. I called them at 8:15 in the morning, and they were here by 9:00. There were initially two men who came to inspect the issue and quoted me some prices for replacing my toilet and replacing the water valve shutoff. A third person (Greg) came soon after, and the other two left soon after Greg started working on our bathroom . Greg completed most of the work. He did a good job communicating with me about what to expect and possible issues that might arise. Praise the Lord, he didn't feel there was much water damage, and the area was pretty dry. He removed the old toilet and installed the new one on his own. He was confident, and it made me feel at ease. Definitely would recommend Castillo Works Plumbing.+07/18/2024 Updated Review 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Five-Star Google Review for Castillo Works Plumbing 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 I recently had the pleasure of working with Castillo Works Plumbing for the second time, and once again, they exceeded my expectations! They offered a few different options to repair our slab leak with different pricing to accommodate our resources. They're trustworthy. I left his team alone at home to continue their work without any issues they even put up with my dog getting in their way.+0Competitive pricing and quality work. Mike is reliable and quick to answer any questions about the repairs. They are trustworthy and will help in all phases of the project. They offered multiple solutions and pricing to my plumbing problems.+0Castillo Works was recommended by Rapid Water Heater (owner Miguel, who replaced our water heater 4/11/22). Art came by within an hour(!) on that Sunday phone call and assessed the leak situation. He cut out some dry wall to find cause of leak and also examined overflow gasket. Greg, Ace and Alex started Monday afternoon. Our streets were closed to through traffic Tuesday -- so Wednesday morning, Greg did the whole project of replacing the 3 shower valves with a Moen all-purpose, one-handle valve; the tub-faucet, overflow gasket and old exposed copper pipes downstairs. The crew that i met from Castillo were all personable and professional. i also appreciated Greg's patience as he explained to me "plumbing jargon" so that i may learn what goes on behind/beneath the shower/bathroom walls. Greg finished the work in the afternoon. ALL good to go! Overall, i would rate Castillo Works a 4.8 -- because complete perfection only happens in GOD's Heaven. \o/+6Thank you to Castillo Plumbing! Art came over the same day I called to take a look at our issue. We had them re-pipe the main water line to the house. Everyone was so professional, nice and took pride in their job! The team work they have is amazing. They took the time to lay out plastic and put the dirt over it, making the job as clean as possible all the way through. I will definitely be using them! HUGE thank you to Art, Ace, Ron, and Buddy for everything!+3Thank you to Castillo Plumbing! Art came over the same day I called to take a look at our issue. Castillo works took his time on making sure that is was done right. Thank you again. Very pleased with the finished product.+0After trying to unclog the tub myself i finally gave in and called a professional. I gotta hand it to Art for spending 4 hours with an electric snake trying to fish out a hairball. Finally after getting it out the drain is clear and all is well. Thank you Art for your professionalism and commitment to completing the job.+0I am reviewing again because they came back for a different pipe leak. Art and another co worker came quickly to assess damage. They were able to pinpoint the leak after taking some drywall off and give me quotes. We have used this company 2X before so I already knew we would have them fix it on the spot. They work quick and efficiently, they will tell you what may be needed in the future so you aren't caught with a big surprise on a potential future plumbing issue. Great work and will always call them for my business!+2Had a terrific experience with Castillo Works Plumbing and I highly recommend them. It was a multi-day project due to some water damage caused by the water heater leaking for several days. Greg was extremely professional, knowledgeable, thorough as he assessed the situation and made the necessary recommendations. He was very easy to work with, explained what he was doing throughout the project and even showed me how to use the new water heater. To top it off he left my garage cleaner than when he first got here. Talk about A+ service. Let's face it , no one enjoys spending money on repairs but I thought that they charged a fair price and their workmanship was top notch.+1Art and his crew of Castillo Works Plumbing replaced my old tankless water heater with a Navien Tankless Water Heater. Art was very polite and answered all my questions either in person, by a phone call or text. They did a great job. The Pelican Water System was installed by Ely about 3 years ago. Still works great. I just forgot to post a picture of it in my other review. Highly recommend Castillo Works Plumbing.+1Came home after work to a leaking garbage disposal on 1/2/24. I texted Ely if he could help and give me an estimate. Ely gave me an estimate and would come first thing in the morning. By 10 a.m. the next morning everything was fixed and taken care of. I've used his company for plumbing needs since 2018. The various employees have been great with communicating their arrival and professional when doing their job.+0Reliable , fast, they have the part needed for the job even on a weekend. Art was great and professional.+0When I needed a new hot water heater, my first thought was to call Ely. I was not sure whether they would be available in such short notice, but they came through the next morning! Again they provided prompt service with absolutely no additional products, services or gouging. They even supplied an air blower for several days and a drip pan under the new water heater. I'm a customer for life!+1Ely provides the best responses of any service professional in my experience as a homeowner. His candid, fair and no nonsense approach for providing information and estimates is 2nd to none. I always call him first and his technicians respond within 15-20 minutes! My go to resource for HVAC! UPDATED REVIEW 8/11/2023: Found water covering my garage floor, which was the result of a hot water heater leak. Contacted Ely that evening after turning off the gas and water. He showed up the next morning, ordered the replacement and installed before noon. Another top notch and fair response, replacement and price. Highly recommended!+0They Are Prompt & Professional Had a Emergency Leak in Ceiling Bathroom They Came & Solved The Issue... They Are Going to Fix The Drywall Damage & Dry Out The Area So That There is No Mold From Water Leak... Also Had New Spigots Installed On Out Side Because They Were Old and Leaking... I Like That They Are Straight Shooters When Quoting Prices For Job at Hand... Reasonably Negotiable Prices Good Job Castillo Works Plumbing+1Had a leak from a second floor drain pipe which Greg was able to determine leak source, promptly. Broken pipe repair also followed promptly. Entire job took about 2 weeks which included moisture extraction/remediation and wall restoration with texture, baseboard section replacement and paint. Job completed to satisfaction.+0I woke up to find water trickling onto the laundry room floor. The culprit was the aging water heater that came with the house. Ely came out within the hour and did a quick inspection of the water heater. He pointed out the corrosion points and other issues. I was impressed with the on the spot analysis and solution during the initial evaluation. He also spot checked the flue and told me that the HVAC/air-conditioning/heating exhaust vent installed by a third party was hooked up incorrectly to the water heater exhaust flue which would create an issue for the city inspector when the time comes. He is on top of his game.+0Responsive and professional with a competitive price. Ely was available on a Saturday to replace our hot water heater when we had out of town guests. Replaced worn out parts and brought everything up to code. Thank you!+0Responsive and professional with a competitive price. I called another plumber I had used before located here in "EASTLAKE" but after 40 minutes did not hear back from them so I called Castillo Works. Eli promptly answered and answered all my questions, he asked for a few pictures, I hung up and sent them to him. He called me right back and said he would be at my house in 15 minutes, he was there in 10! He got on site, looked at the valve said he could fix right then and there! He quoted me a fair price and was in and out of there in 1.5 hours. I did not require him to wear a mask, but he did, which was nice, he was clean, courteous and professional. I highly recommend Eli or anyone on his staff and will use them for any future work!+2The only plumbing company who picked up their phones after hours!!! They literally saved the night. Spoke with Eli and was able to get a same day appointment. Greg came out and installed a new toilet for us. He did a great job. Would definitely recommend.Had a small leak above my water heater just before I left for a month long trip, was recommended Callisto works who was able to come out and repair the pipe on a holiday. Was able to communicate clearly by text and get a quote - no up charging or gimmicks. Work was done fast by a friendly and polite plumber. Plan to use them again.Super cordiales, buen precio, muy limpios y hicieron todo rápido el mismo día, compare precios y fueron los más accesibles por la misma calidad, recomendados 100%.Great job by Ely and his crew. They were professional every step of the way, and provided a detailed explanation of the repiping work they were going to do. I will definitely hire them again.Kitchen sink We called Castillo Works this morning with the assumption we needed a new kitchen sink. After explaining our concerns to Ely, he asked that photos of the sink be sent to him so he could better understand our issues. After reviewing the photos he called with an explanation and recommendation of how we could solve are leaking issues without having our sink replaced. So many companies would not have provided this information without charging for an in person inspection. Based on this experience alone, we will gladly call Castillo Works Plumbing for any future plumbing needs. We were excited to hear the company is also licensed for bathroom remodels. Thank you Ely!Fixed our Spigot Respectful and accommodating. Outdoor spigot was leaking and they were accommodating to my time frame. I couldn't have it done that day and they were able to meet my schedule. Will use again!CASTILLO... Works! Greg finished the work in the afternoon. ALL good to go! Overall, i would rate Castillo Works a 4.8 -- because complete perfection only happens in GOD's Heaven. \o/

Timely, good communication, solid work!+0We initially had Greg from Castillo Works Plumbing repair and replace our secondary bathroom's cold water shut off valve April 13, 2026 which had a slow leak. They offered multiple solutions and pricing to my plumbing problems.+0Castillo Works was recommended by Rapid Water Heater (owner Miguel, who replaced our water heater 4/11/22). He quoted me a fair price and was in and out of there in 1.5 hours. I did not require him to wear a mask, but he did, which was nice, he was clean, courteous and professional.
